Biography 

Thanh Tâm has achieved significant accomplishments in the fields of media and film, garnering admiration from Vietnamese communities worldwide.

From 2010 to 2014, she collaborated with Thời Báo Canada, co-producing and managing the Tiếng Nói Trẻ Radio Station and Thời Báo Trẻ Magazine. From 2014 to 2019, the news and community reports she produced as the Producer of SBTN Canada became well-known to the Vietnamese diaspora in North America. In 2017, she co-founded and served as the Executive Director of VIETLIVE TV, one of the most successful social media programs among overseas Vietnamese, followed by millions of viewers globally.

In 2018, she enrolled in the film production program at Toronto Film School and graduated with the short film Her Little Rose (Bông Hồng của Mẹ), which won several awards at international film festivals. From 2021 to 2023, she produced and directed the short film A Realm of Return (Bóng Quá Khứ), which, in addition to winning major awards at international film festivals, was screened nearly 50 times in cities with large Vietnamese communities across North America, Australia, and Europe. In 2022, she was invited by the multicultural television station ECG to collaborate as the director and producer of the documentary Boat People: A 50-Year Journey (Thuyền Nhân: Hành Trình 50 Năm). Since March 2024, this film has been warmly received worldwide, with over 80 screenings in 40 cities across countries like Canada, the U.S., Australia, Denmark, France, Norway, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Germany.

Her achievements in media and film have been recognized through numerous prestigious awards, including:

• A commendation from Congressman Milton Dick MP Federal Member for Fowler Queensland, Dr Tien Dung Kieu, Member of Parliament of Victoria, Dai Le MP Federal Member for Fowler Sydney Australia, Michelle Streel Member of Congress, City of Westminster, City of San Jose, Senator Dave Cortese, Assembly Tri Ta 
• The Golden Key to the City of Westminster from Mayor Nguyen Manh Chi 
• The YouTube Gold Creator Award for surpassing one million subscribers.

Tiểu sử 

Thanh Tâm đạt được nhiều thành tựu nổi bật trong lãnh vực truyền thông và điện ảnh và được nhiều người gốc Việt trên khắp thế giới hâm mộ. 

Từ 2010 đến 2014, cô cộng tác với Thời Báo Canada, đồng thực hiện Đài Phát Thanh Tiếng Nói Trẻ, Tạp Chí Thời Báo Trẻ. Từ 2014 đến 2019, những chương trình tin tức và phóng sự cộng đồng do cô thực hiện với vai trò Giám đốc sản xuất SBTN Canada được nhiều đồng hương tại Bắc Mỹ biết đến. Năm 2017, cô đồng sáng lập và là Giám đốc điều hành chương trình VIETLIVE TV, một trong những chương trình truyền thông thành công nhất của người Việt hải ngoại trên mạng xã hội, được hàng triệu người Việt tại khắp nơi trên thế giới theo dõi. 

Năm 2018, cô tham gia chương trình đào tạo sản xuất phim điện ảnh của Toronto Film School và tốt nghiệp với phim ngắn Bông Hồng của Mẹ đạt được nhiều giải thưởng trong các Liên Hoan Phim quốc tế. Năm 2021 – 2023 cô thực hiện phim ngắn Bóng Quá Khứ. Ngoài các giải thưởng quan trọng tại các liên hoan phim Quốc Tế, Bóng Quá Khứ được trình chiếu gần 50 buổi tại các thành phố có đông người Việt cư ngụ khắp Bắc Mỹ, Úc và Châu Âu. Năm 2022, cô được đài truyền hình đa sắc tộc ECG mời hợp tác trong vai trò đạo diễn kiêm nhà sản xuất cho phim tài liệu Thuyền Nhân: Hành Trình 50 năm. Từ  tháng 3 năm 2024, phim Thuyền Nhân: Hành Trình 50 năm đã được đón nhận nồng nhiệt trên khắp thế giới với trên 80 buổi trình chiếu tại 40 thành phố ở các quốc gia Canada, Mỹ, Úc, Đan Mạch, Pháp, Na Uy, Thuỵ Sỹ, Hoà Lan, Đức … 

Sự đóng góp của cô trong lãnh vực truyền thông và điện ảnh đã được ghi nhận qua nhiều phần thưởng tinh thần cao quý như:
